My Nose

My eyes looked down,

What’s this I see?

Nothing but you,

Looking at me!

I tried to shake you off my face,

I tied you up with my shoe lace;

But all you did was stick so fast,

Were you a monster from my past?

I stared at you at with a frown,

Hoped you would just fall right down,

Onto the ground and rush away,

But all you want to do is stay;

Upon my face – what shall I do?

I’d cross my eyes, but then there’s two!

I just won’t look at my feet,

Or the stones on the street.

I’ll keep my head straight and tall,

Then I won’t see you at all!
