Exposed

You stood there and smiled at me,

Knowing what you’ve done!

Laughed at me behind my back,

Rubbished my family to everyone!

Well now I know but I’m not mad,

I watch you all and take it in,

The new partner, husband, even wife,

You cut his legs so you could win.

But that’s OK, I’ll use my time,

To map out corruptions wake,

Then when I’m gone, I will publish it,

Expose all for sanities sake!

Failed him

He was sinking in the darkness,

While monsters crowded in,

Though he tried to fight the systems flaws,

He knew he would never win!

Negligence of the medical kind,

Left him injured and so raw,

Life had changed so much for him,

For now and ever more.

He came to you to look for help,

Mind crushed up in a vice,

Trusted you, had faith in you,

You sold him out at the highest price!

Throwing him into a lioness den,

His wounds were new and bleeding,

My babies young and I was ill,

With no money for their feeding.

Each day I woke him, dressed him to,

Had to leave him all alone,

Full time I worked in a soulless job,

While he never left my home.

He was so different and so empty,

All he did was cry,

My life was changed beyond compare,

I need to ask you why?

Why did you do it to our life,

Feel the need to crush him down,

Make my mind shatter with the stress,

Walk away without a frown.

He told you he was broken,

His mind was dark and lost,

You ignored this and you didn’t care,

Then failed him at our cost.

So don’t expect me to care,

When you are feeling low or sad,

So you’re struggling today? You want my help?

Well I’m sorry – that’s just too bad!

Corruption

He’s awake again at 2am,

Shouting, “Stop! Stand back!”,

Arms in the air in defensive stance,

With arching of his back.

During the day a sight or sound,

Sends him to that place once more,

Footsteps racing behind him,

Leaves him cowering on the floor.

Fracturing his neck while at work,

Alone he did his role,

Protected all as he should,

But it damaged his very soul!

You broke him and abused him,

While he screamed into the mire,

You wanted him gone, that was clear,

 Pushing your opinions ever higher.

“He’s lazy!, Noisy!, Shirking!, Rude”

You sullied our name,

They believed you and promoted you,

So you rise above the blame.

Your ‘management’ of this man,

When his mind was lost and frail,

Feathered your nest and those of your friends,

Leaving him to rot – to fail!.
