Halloween

The cool chill of fear,

Masks a fresh wild fright.

Voices are jumbled,

Like bats in the night.

A still silent moment,

With screams of a child,

Thoughts so unearthly,

The beasts are so wild.

The pavements are scattered,

With chicks out of shell.

A flowery message,

‘The gateway to hell!’

Skeletons and monsters,

A scary white ghost,

Knock on the door,

Of the welcoming host.

Treats and some tricks,

A rich red fruit punch,

Blood curdling screams,

Ghost tales from the bunch.

With witches and goblins,

A night full of fun,

Scary videos are watched,

Until the rise of the sun.
